The members of the Board of Education believe in the importance of students receiving meals to be healthy and ready to learn and have voted to pilot a district-wide free meal program for all students for the FY 22/23 school year. To receive free meals for your child (children), parents must complete the free and reduced application form included in this packet and return to school by Friday, September 2, 2022.
Parents who do not submit one completed free and reduced lunch form for their family will be charged for meals. The completed form may be placed in an envelope and marked food service to ensure confidentiality. Parents may also access the form and complete online by visiting the district’s website, https://www.thompsonk12.org/ and clicking on the lunch button.
